I lodged complaint for my SONY TV as cited above. My TV was collected on 21.09.2015 & an advance of Rs 2000 was also deposited. I was told that it will take 7 to 10 days & change of display panel will cost Rs 11000/-
Almost one month has elapsed now. Half dozen mails & 15 to 20 calls done to SONY dealer & customer care without any response. The dealer mostly does not even pick up the phone or if picks up does not respond. Customer care is also non responsive & non committal.
After lot of persuation I learnt that SONY has abandoned this model & spare is not available. I am not aware of the fate & am left in lurch.
SONY has to provide me either service or replacement as it is their moral responsibility against the product they have sold.
With this background that the product has been abandoned by SONY it is more relevant that I get a replacement with running model as even after repair, its reliable performance or service is not guaranteed as I see from the attitude & behavior as in this case so far.
I place on recormy grievance against the unsatisfactory service by SONY & their attitude & behavior. I am not even aware of the fate of my TV lying with them for almost one month now. Will SONY be kind enough to address my issue & relieve me of this harassment.
