Complaint regarding unfair billing, excess charge by Ola cabs

I had taken OLA outstation from Bangalore to Mysore and back on Aug 7th 2018. Had booked the ride for my parents. Driver reached on time and he asked for RS.1000 in cash as we were going for a long journey and he didn’t have cash for diesel which my dad gave after checking with me. At the end of the trip, half of the money got deducted from my ola money and there was some rs.2309 which was to be paid in cash. My dad asked the driver to deduct RS.1000 from the rest of the amount as it was already paid at the beginning to which he conviced my dad that he needs the cash now to close the ride and we can call OLA helpline, where the representative will take the driver on call and money would be reversed to our account.

Next day onwards we are speaking with OLA representative. First 4-5 there was no resolution and case was marked as closed automatically, post which when I maked CEO helpdesk, some senior rep called abs said driver has denied and he can’t help me. Later when I asked him to take driver on con call, he said it’s not their company policy. Not sure how to proceed with this.

@ Preethi: In our experience, the rates initially shown can be approximate but in most cases it will match with the final charge. If you have a screenshot of the original amount shown at the time of booking we suggest you to take this up with OLA. You can raise a ticket through your account OR BETTER you send email to them so that your complaint is on record.
