Complaint regarding Vodafone data card billing

I purchased a data sim during April’16. After 4-5 days visited Powai Vodafone store and asked them to deactivate the sim as it was not required. I made the payment due at the Store. However I have kept on receiving bills despite my several visits. Everytime I am told that you make the payment against the current month and it will be deactivated. Really it is agonizing. Please help. Store people are not helping at all. Unnecessary I have to make the payment.
