I am a resident of India. I am currently in UK to visit my daughter who recently had her first baby. I am a vodafone network user and I had requested for activating the international roaming plan on my number before coming to UK, in March 2016. When I enquired about the plan, I was told that it’d cost around Rs 499 but when I saw my bill for March, I noticed that it was Rs 1499. When I contacted vodafone, they mentioned that there is no plan for 499 but only 1499. Assuming that I might have been mistaken, I paid my bill for March as well as April. n the month of May I asked vodafone to deactivate my international plan from 6th JUne. I paid the bill for May too. I reminded them numerous times but yesterday I received a mail from them saying that they had not deactivated my plan and would do it in the next cycle, which means that I’ll have to pay one more time. I am really fed with the way they have handled my case and would like to make a complaint as I cannot keep on paying them for something I am not using.
