I had bought “Silver Colour Cotton Legginggs” from Snapdeal.Com on the 18th of October 2016 and paid for it by the netbanking facility. However, on the 27th of October, I received a package containing “Blue Colour Cotton Leggings”. When I called Snapdeal customer care, I was told that Silver colour leggings were out of stock. On inquiring how come the order was placed if the product was out of stock, the representative Rxxxxh said at the time of placing order it was available, but not in stock now. So I asked him if the product was available then and I had prepaid for the product, should the vendor not have sent it? I then asked to be refunded and a text message was sent to me stating that I live in an area where they cannot arrange for pick up of the product, so I have to send a courier at my cost to them and then wait for them to finish a quality check on the product and then they will proceed with my refund request. This is a blatant case of cheating and harassing customers and with their advertisements claiming easy refunds etc, this is also a case of misleading the public.
