Complaint regarding Xiaomi Mi 4i service

It has been approx two months since my Xiaomi mi4i phone is at the mi India service centres. first 15-20 days at the siliguri service centre and they returned the phone to me without any repair infact the phone they returned to me had 10 percent battery life which drained soon and the phone went off neither accepting the charge from any charger nor switching on.

I then sent the phone to the head office in Ahmedabad through pick mi service paying additional courier charges on 7th may 2016. they had assured that the phone shall be returned after repair within 7 days. its been 5 weeks now and i have not got my phone back. To every emails and phone calls they have only one reply- :”WE APOLOGIZE, PLEASE GIVE US SOME MORE TIME, THE PHONE IS UNDER PRODUCTION”. I am seriously frustrated. kindly help.

    I am also facing service issues with xiaomi. I want to ask whether your problem was solved?

    Hi Ashutosh!

    Well they returned my phone after 2 and half months when i sent them a notice threatening to take legal actions.

    However, the major problems were solved but not all. Additionally, d screen was left with new patches(color distortion) at two places where they must have used some metal to open the phone for service.

    Out of dissatisfaction i sold it to a needy friend in pennies.
