61. Refund complaint against Travelchacha:

Mr. Puneet Chabra of Pune, Maharashtra (chhabrapuneet@gmail.com) had cancelled his booking with Travelchacha on 18th August 2010 and had not received refund from them until 30-09-2010 when he posted his complaint with ICF. ICF submitted the complaint to Travelchacha and Mr. Puneet Chabr got his refund on 08-10-2010.

62. Refund complaint against MakeMyTrip – Rs.930:

Mr. Kalyana Sundaram, Kuwait (kalyana.sundaram@uasc.net) had booked an air ticket through MakeMyTrip on 8-12-2009 which he subsequently cancelled on 05-07-2010. He was due to get a refund of Rs.930/- which was not forthcoming from MMT. He posted his complaint with ICF on 08-10-2010 and finally got the refund in cash on 11-10-2010.

63. Non-receipt of gifts from Home Shop18:

Ms. Aparna Mishra of Lucknow, UP (apna.tewari@rediffmail.com) had ordered 2 pcs of 20ltrs Whirlpool Microwaves from HomeShop18 on 25-05-2010 but she did not get the gifts that came with the products. She made several complaints to the customer care but did not receive the gifts till 27-08-2010 when she posted her complaint with ICF, after which she got her gifts on 09-09-2010.

64. Non-receipt of gifts from HomeShop18:

Ms. Sunanda Devilkar of Pune, Maharashtra (sunanda_54@rediffmail.com) had ordered a Whirlpool Microwave with HomeShop18 on 21-08-2010. She got the product but she did not receive the gift (Reebok watch) and refund of Octroi payment. She posted her complaint with ICF on 10-10-2010 and finally got her gift and refund on 15-10-2010.

65. Refund from Travelchacha Rs.2484:

Ms. Shweta Singh, Ghatkopar, Maharashtra (shweta.singh@idbi.co.in) had cancelled her ticket on 16-10-2010. She was assured by Travelchacha that she would receive her refund in 20-25 working days. As she did not receive her refund even after repeated reminders and calls to Travelchacha she posted her complaint with ICF on 20-9-2010. Ms. Shweta Singh got her refund + compensation on 17-10-2010.

66. Refund from Yatra.com – Rs.14,144:

Mr. Mahesh Vala of Babrala, Uttar Pradesh (mahesh_vala2001@rediffmail.com) had cancelled five airtickets with Yatra.com worth Rs.14,144/- on 30-09-2010. Despite repeated reminders and email he did not receive refund till 29-10-2010 when he posted his complaint with ICF. Subsequently, he got his refund on 01-11-2010.

67. Refund complaint against Yatra.com – Rs.6,656:

Mr. Raghvendra Narayan of Delhi (Email: raghvendra1.narayan@gmail.com) had booked a domestic flight from Patna to Pune on 9th of october and at first attempt ticket was not booked and Rs.6656 was debited from his account though the booking was not successful. Mr. Narayan booked the same ticket at second attempt but did not get refund for the 1st booking even after continuous calling to yatra helpline. He posted a complaint with ICF on 03-11-2010 and the matter was taken up with Yatra. Mr. Narayan finally got his refund on 16-11-2010.

68. Refund from HomeShop18 – Rs.7,777:

Mr. Pradeep Kumar Bal of Neyveli, Tamilnadu (Email: pkbal2008@rediffmail.com) had placed an order on Homeshop18 in the month of september 2010 for a IFB make micro-oven, 20 ltrs(Order no-900544511). Though the payment was made but till 12.11.2010 he had not received the product. He had posted his complaint with ICF and requested for delivery of the product or refund. The issue was taken up with HomeShop Mr. P.K.Bal received his refund on 26-11-2010.

69. HP’s Spin & Win Contest – Printer not received:

Mr. Guruprasad Rai of Borivali-West, Maharashtra, (Email: guruprasad.rai86@gmail.com) played the HP Spin-and-win contest and won “F4488 AIO” as reward. After that on Sep 16 HP had promised that HP F4488 all in one Printer (Print / Scan / Copy) will be delivered to him by 15th October. But till 02-11-2010 the printer was not delivered. Mr. Rai posted his complaint with ICF on 02-11-2010 and ICF pursued the matter with HP. Mr. Rai got his printer delivered to him on 19-11-2010.

70. Problems with refund on MakeMyTrip – Rs.19,428:

Mr. Shrijit Panikkar, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra (Email: jpshrijit@yahoo.com) posted a complaint with ICF on 22-11-2010 for short-receipt of refund amount from MakeMyTrip.com. ICF submitted the complaint to MMT and Mr. Panikkar finally got the full refund amount by 02-12-2010.

71. Product not delivered by Futurebazaar:

Mr.G.P.Srivastava, Royapettah, Chennai (Email: gyan2512@gmail.com) had ordered through online for a Richard Morphie 4 Slice toaster with Futurebazaar on 06-10-2010. It was subsequently found that the product was delivered to a different customer and Mr. Srivastava promptly notified this to Futurebazaar. Futurebazaar assured him that there was a logistics problem and his matter would be looked into. However, nothing happened and the product was not delivered to him till 2 Dec. 2010 despite various emails and telephone calls. Mr. Srivastava posted his complaint with ICF on 02-12-2010 and he finally got the product on 08-12-2010.

72. No refund from Travelchacha even after 3 months:

Mr. Vivek Sharma of Sahakar Nagar, Karnataka (Email: vivek0217@gmail.com) had cancelled his ticket (booking Id AMWNES ) on 23-10-2010 but did not get refund till posting his complaint with ICF on 14-12-2010 despite repeated reminders to Travelchacha. ICF submitted his complaint to Travelchacha and he finally got his refund on 15-12-2010.

73. Non-receipt of refund and deposit from Travelchacha – Rs.15,353:

Ms. Rukmini.S.K of Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh (rukmini.sk@gmail.com) had registered with Travelchacha as an agent. She had problems in loging into the agent account and subsequently she wanted to obtain the full refund standing due to her in agency account. Since August 2010 she had been trying to obtain the refund but was not successful. She posted her complaint with us on 21-09-2010 and, after regular follow-ups with travelchacha by ICF and Ms. Rukmini, she got her full refund by 18-12-2010.

74. Cancellation refund not received from Goibibo – Rs.5,157:

Mr. Naveen Chandrakar of Karnataka, cancelled his tickets on 08-12-2010 (PNR. EKUAYX) but received short payment against the total refund amount. After failing to resolve the issue with GoIbibo, he posted his complaint with ICF on 22-12-2010 and the same was taken up with GoIbibo. Mr. Naveen finally got his full refund on 24-12-2010.

75. Refund from way2wealth – Rs.2,697:

Mr. Atanu Kumar Panda of Pune, Maharashtra (Email: atanuniceguy@gmail.com) had requested way2wealth.com to refund his money paid to them for their services as he was not getting the same as committed by them. However, since he was not successful in getting his money back he posted his complaint with ICF on 03-12-2010 which was subsequently taken up Way2Wealth. Mr. Panda finally got his money back on 27-12-2010.
