On 1st of March’15 I paid Rs. 14670/- as an advance towards purchase of a new LG inverter V split AC Model No. BSQ186C8R6 through my ICICI bank credit card to Sales Emporium (South), 226 Diamond Harbour Road, Kolkata – 700060, phone no. 033-23491730/31/32. Receipt of the advance paid i.e. Buyer’s Copy of the Order Form is attached.
Till date I have not received the Airconditioner for which I have already paid the advance (as mentioned above) and rest was supposed to be paid through EMI.
Whenever I call the merchant i.e. Sales Emporium (South) his representative says the AC of that particular model is out of stock or not in production of LG etc. etc. and now want me to settle with some other AC with lesser configuration.
As a customer I feel when I have booked a certain item by paying an amount as advance I am entitled to get the same item in new and good condition and not settle with some inferior quality item.
Seek your assistance in this regard, also kindly guide me what sort of compensation may I seek from the trader for putting me such trouble.
