Defective Samsung SD card and no service support

I purchased a 16 GB Samsung SD card from a retail shop on 19th Oct 15. It was sealed pack at the time of purchase, when I opened the package I found a hair line defect (cracking) on SD card. I checked it in system & found it is non workable. Retailer asked me to contact service center. Hence I called Samsung customer care & got Jaipur service center’s details. I called them, they asked me to come Jaipur to replace the card. I live in a remote area which is 500km away from Jaipur. So I requested them that I will send the card by post & they can do the rest, but they strictly refused to accept SD card by post as they only accept card by hand. This is pathetic.

Please let me know as this is a defective samsung product which I received. so why would I spend at least 5000/- to go to Jaipur & replace the SD card when the cost of the product is only 350/-. I also emailed this issue to Samsung but there is no response from their end. Hence I am raising this concern.
