I booked a zoomcar in Pune to have a galla time with friends. the booking was confirm and the booking time was from 10:00 PM to 9:00 AM. Paid the security and other charges in advance and was told that i would get a confirmation sms with car number 20 mins before pick up. I reached the pick up oint at 9:40 but there was no zoom car executive to be found. SOme friends of the designated guy told that he must be drinking somewhere. Called the customer care, had a shitty conversation for 10 mins and he assured me I would get a cashback in 20 mins waited for 30 mins and no call back hence i called them back. This time the guy unlocked the car but there were no keys inside hence he gave me a number. I reached out to the number and had to wait another 10 mins for him to arrive with the keys. Once i recieved the key and asked for a solution to 1 hr i had lost, he said i could bring the car back 1 hr late and assured me no late charges would apply untill he is alive. I returned the car at 9:45 (the condition of car when i got the car was highly dirty, but since there was no other option I had to take it) in the same condition as was given to me. Rather than calling and appologising for the mishap last night, the zoomcar guys put a late fee in my bill and deducted extra money. I raised a complaint the same day and asked for my refund. They said I would get a call back in 2 days max. It has been the 4 th day since and I am still waiting for call back. Kindly help.
