I bought this TV as a gift for my parents for there 20th marriage anniversary. When we played the TV, it had a couple of horizontal lines at the bottom. The customer care was called and after 3 days of reluctancy, the service center fellow comes in and says it ll take around 2-3 weeks to fix the issue as it is a display problem.

We refused his offer and suggested that the TV just being very recent needs to get replaced as on the first day of operation, the TV did not work as expected and we feared that Sony has not done a proper quality check on it. The guy from the service center said that he cannot do anything as its the company policy. On requesting, he said he will talk to the concerned team and get back to us.

It has been almost a week since then, never heard back, on calling too, no one entertains. Have never got any communication from Sony as well. I am very much disappointed by this negligence.
