I have bought A sony MDR-XB 450 from Flipkart, which was delivered on time but the product was duplicate one.
I called Flipkart customer care, they are offering me a refund not a relacement.
But i want a genuine product not a replacement. i had waited for may days for discuount, and now i got a duplicate product. Now when i raised the concern Flipkart is saying that the product is out of stock with seller so replacement is not possible. But here the point is that how a genuine product can be deliver on the same lower price. And Trust me this is why they are giving this excuses .
Now if Flipkart understand their responsibility they should push the seller to get a genuine product delivered. this should be the responsibility of Flipkart to get the genuine product delivered to customer any how. They are saying that the seller is no more with Flipkart as they have ended the contract with the seller after my complain.
But here my question is what about the end customer who waits for a long for any sale season or discount. Does this mean that these all discount and sale are just to make people purchasing their duplicate products so that they can make money .
This is a simple strategy of both Flipkart and the seller to make money like:- if in sale or discount season they sale 100 duplicate piece , and if refund of 60 was done, they are still in a benefit of 40 piece, this is only why they give the excuse that the product is out of stock so that they dont have to replace with original one on the same price.
the same seller can join flipkart with new name and a new registration number and will continue to sell the duplicate product . why dont flipkart force same seller to deliver the genuine one on the same price.
Kindly guide me further how to deal with the situation. I am a customer , i dont care whether Flipkart had ended the contract with the seller or not, I want the genuine product delivered to me any how.
Kindly help me on this.
