We ordered a mobile phone through Ebay. Payment terms were only before delivery. I paid for the purchase of mobile by Debit card. To our shock when we received parcel on opening found empty box. We raised Claim on eBay site. EBay informed that your product is covered under ebay Guarantee. They also sent message that they give seller four days after that if seller doesn’t resolve your claim we will settle out . To our shock on 8th day ebay informed that your case is rejected as parcel was delivered under 500gm. On checking Shipping Details attached to the parcel it says Est Wt 0.3kgs. Seller shabeerf1 asked us what is the weight parcel was delivered. Can any body says that when they get their parcel they keep weighing machine at home and weight of the parcel is checked. We also sent message to seller. We first got message from seller that eBay is looking into it. When we again sent message the seller informed pls wait let him get the material then he will revert back to us. We got assured that seller has got some clue and will shortly resolve our claim. To our shock today i.e on 11th August, he sent message saying that your claim has been rejected by ebay so contact ebay.
We contacted courier service i.e FedEx to our shock when we made complaint to FedEx we found neither ebay nor seller has made any complaint to FedEx. We observed that both ebay and seller were making us fool.
