I had a vodafone number which I wanted to cancel. It was suspended because I had forgotten to pay the bill. Then I paid the bill and asked the number to be cancelled. But they said that I will have to activate the number to suspend it. I had specifically asked the customer service executive whether I will be billed, she had said that if you have paid all the dues, then there wont be any extra money required. They activated the number and deactivated it in 4-5 days after calling them about the same more than 5 times. And they have generated a bill of one and a half months and say that they have pro-rated the bill.

I am not in India, but in the US now. And they wont understand and remedy my problem even after umpteen emails sent to them. The reference number for the complaint is 128058324.

My plan rate is of about 250 Rs. and the pro-rated amount should ideally be well under 100 Rs. But they are asking ofr 325 Rs. Even the billed amount is showing 251Rs.
