I placed an online order on 7 july 2016 from US,it reached India by 15July 2016, FedEx made call to me to provide KYC documents since it was my very first courier via FedEx, I provided them my ID and sent them Scanned copy of KYC form, the next they made call to me and said there is address mismatch between Delivery address provided and Address on the Id submitted, I explained them that I live in rural area and Courier service is not available at my Pincode(151401), they told me to give them a hand written declaration letter, providing the reason in it for address mismatch. I sent them Declaration letter. The next day they said we need Id proof of someone residing at the shipping address provided, even I provided them that. even After receiving all the documents they kept me sending same copy paste e-mail of Address mismatch for a week. Every time received such e-mail I called them back and they use to reply “sir aap nishchint rahiye” we are processing your documents and you will receive your order within 48 hours. They took more than a week just to clear my documentation process and kept me sending mails regarding 30rs per day demurrage charge for your order. On 25 july i received a message from FedEx “We wish to confirm receipt of soft copy submission of KYC documents. All the copies are now updated to FedEx systems.” one day later I called them to know about how long it will take to reach me, they said your documents are sent to Custom office for Custom clearance and it can take 3 days, After 3 days they told me “custom has abandoned your parcel” due to clearance delay and we cannot say now how long it will take and even we are not sure about that will you even get it or not. All wrongs and delay was caused due to FedEx employees and FedEx.Now they are not replying to my e-mails.I have already done the payment for the courier and all loss will be mine in case they kept procrastinating.
I will be highly thankful to ICF if it could help me in getting my courier.
