I got a call from SBI Credit card(Delhi)(As she stated in the call) and started asking about whether I have received the credit card or not. I had recently made the annual payment of 574(499+tax) and was eagerly waiting for the amazon voucher(as mentioned earlier). She inquired about my card no. and a transaction of 8104.85 was made from my credit card. I was convinced by her that this will be refunded as this is the benefit amount. When I called the helpline they said this is a fake call and they blocked my card. Please guide me through what needs to be done. Because this is complete harassement on the part that SBI is not able to maintain the confidentiality of its customer details(She was aware of my address an all).

  1. A similar thing happened to me & I have been using the SBI CARD for barely a month. I got a call on 27th which mislead me to a transaction of Rs. 4900. The caller had my card details including my CVV No. etc. Since this is a similar case with SBI CARD I highly doubt the modus operandi of SBI CARD. I had raised a query but they have rejected my dispute. You think people are fools to make transactions on their own & log a complaint.
    Good to know about it. This will make my case even stronger in the court of law.
