I had ordered a sofa set from Pepperfry.com and since they said it is not cash on delivery I paid them the amount by my credit card which they acknowledged. When I didn’t get the delivery on time I tried calling them but their phone gets disconnected before you can speak and address your query. I wrote mail to them and after much deliberation got a very indifferent reply stating the product is delayed because the vendor has not sent it to their warehouse and they are trying to procure it but cannot give any time frame.

This caused anxiety and undue harrasment as I had already paid them and was awaiting it on diwali with my whole family. Today when i could not secure any confirm reply from them even after more than a fortnight I had no option but to cancel my order and beg them for a refund.

These online stores post products at attractive prices but when they get sold in retail at higher prices they just ignore online orders. Please take it in priority and make sure that they are taken to task for their unethical ways.

    At the onset please accept our sincere apologies for the experience that you had. We certainly do not intend to disappoint our customers and have always looked forward to delight them. This was an unfortunate situation where the product was not procured as per its promised date and thus the shipment was taking long. Our intention is certainly not to keep our customers on wait and hence as requested we cancelled the Order.
