I received an SMS Weekend offer dated Jun 27th that if I renew my account for 3 months’ validity, I will get 1 month free. As in, if I renew for July till September, the offer will extend my validity till end of October. I went ahead and renewed. The bill is dated Jun 28th for amount 3760.86
After three months (Jul-Sep) my connection was terminated on 2nd october without any call or message concerning the offer. I raised a complaint with num 14361271 on the 3rd of october.
I made a dozen phone calls from 3rd to 5th with no response except an assurance that my connection will be restored. I was promised that I will be given a call back within a few hours on each call. Nobody called back.
I finally made a call to the nodal officer on 5th oct who asked me to renew my connection again by paying for 3 months. This is not acceptable because according to the offer, my plan validity expires only after 31st oct. I want to avail the offer that was promised to me.
I am being pressured to pay for my connection again for 3 months if I want to avail previous offer. I do not understand why my previous offer is being denied.
The appellate officer is not reachable by phone.
I have spent many hours on the phone with the customer care and no resolution has been given to me.
Kindly note my grievance and help me in solving my issue. My work has been severely affected by this prolonged disconnection of internet services because of Hathway.
