Tikona broadband services installed at my home since approximately 2 years, under ID 1106352551, were disrupted by a storm that occurred in New Delhi in the month of May 2014, resulting in a complete shutdown of internet services at my home. The company was unable to rectify the issue from May 30th 2014 till June 21st 2014 in spite of repeated reminders and complains from my side. In the meanwhile, I had requested to disconnect the services permanently which according to them takes a couple of weeks’ time to process. The fault was repaired on June 21st and disconnection took place on June 27th. Bill No. B1-48724167 dated 07-Jun-2014 was received for the period 07-Jun-2014 to 06-Jul-2014, surprisingly charging me at the rate of Rs.999/- per month for the whole 30 days in the stated billing period. I wrote several emails and called up the Tikona Care center for correction of bill as this bill should not be charged for a period of 30-May-2014 till 21-Jun-2014.
Instead of helping me out, the company has been calling me again and again on my cellphone asking for the whole amount of Rs. 2,236.32. I have also been receiving calls from someone claiming to be an advocate in the Delhi Civil Courts stating that the company has filed a complaint against me. I have been harassed multiple times in spite of my requests to look at my valid and logical complaint.
