I had purchased 4 Nation savings Certificates of amount Rs 10000 each. Due to loss of the certificates I applied for duplicate certificates with all documents. The Head Post office is at BARUIPUR and File Number D9/275/NSC/07/2014-15.
It has been 2 years since I have completed all the formalities from my end. However, due to negligence in service I have not received the duplicate certificates. All the certificates have already matured in 2013-14 but due to the delay I am not able to encash. I have invested 40000 and the maturity amount is around 66000. I am also unable to encash or reinvest the amount
As per their website http://indiapost.gov.in/rtimanual4.aspx in the section “Our norms for various services” issue of duplicate certificates should be done within 30 days of proper application. I have raised various web complaints most of them have been closed. Currently only the complaint number 10006861769 is in pending status and this status can be checked online in their website.
I have received various postal mails in which one department is asking for signature from another department to provide signatures, etc. to which I was copied. However, this does not have any results.
Please issue the duplicate certificate at the earliest without further delay.
