This complaint is w.r.t. Ola Cabs. Me and my friend are event managers. My friend had to anchor an event on the evening of 25th Sept., 2015 at 7:30pm sharp. But she had no conveyance option. So she booked an ola cab first time on my advice (from her phone no.) as I had been using ola. The cab was booked.
But at the last moment the booking was cancelled by the driver. She, being a girl, faced a lot of inconvenience. It was dark already. She somehow managed to reach the destination, but could commence the event only an hour later from the time fixed, due to which we suffered half of our fees as penalty amounting to Rs. 3500 and also faced reputation loss and insult.
I immediately called ola and made a complaint but the representative could not provide any instant remedy instead hung up the call after listening the whole issue. I called once again.
This time it was Mr. Mxxxxt who asked to repeat the whole issue again, booked my complaint no. as 5604669, but he also could not provide me any instant remedy and just assured me of taking action against driver and also forwarded my request of providing compensation and assured me that I’ll receive a callback in 48 hrs. But I didn’t. So I called again after 10 days. I explained the issue for the 3rd time to Ms. Pxxxxx, who just like Mr. Mxxxxt, denied any compensation and assured to take action against the driver. But I asked her to forward my call to her senior office or the nodal officer. She said, that the officer was unavailable, but assured me that I will definitely receive a callback from the officer within 2 hours in any case this time.
Its been weeks since then, I have received no call, neither any resolution nor any compensation. I am highly dissatisfied and disappointed with this pathetic customer grievance redressal system of ola and I demand immediate resolution and compensation.
