On February 23, I used the MakeMyTrip app on my phone to make a booking for a night in Niagara Falls. After entering my payment details, the screen did not load after the final step so i checked “My Trips” in the app and nothing showed up. So i closed the whole app and tried to make a booking again. This time, the booking went through and it showed up in “My Trips”. However, when I checked my email, there were 2 confirmation emails so i quickly called MMT. The agent on the phone opened up my booking ID and I explained my situation to him. However, he kept referring to the cancellation policy and that I would not get any money back. I sent an email to MMT and have not received email back since then. I tried calling again the following day and the lady on the phone refused to listen to my situation and when I tried telling her I had two booking ID’s, she kept saying “we’re talking about this booking ID, what do you want?” I tried emailing them again and called another time after that but no one would process the refund for me. I asked to speak wtih a supervisor but every time they would say that the supervisor is not around.
