Misleading EMI ad for Samsung Note from Samsung

I bought a Samsung Note Edge in the month of August 2015 availing interest free EMI option. I paid through my Axis bank credit card. Right from the first installment I realized that I am paying an amount of 235.95 as interest along with 7785 of principal amount. The merchant said that this amount will be deducted but will be recredited in my account. Today on questioning the bank the customer care executive told me it is obvious that an interest will be charged on EMI. If that is true, what could be the interest free EMI option mean? Samsung advertises this option in all its ads and all its dealers display this option. If not through credit/debit card, how else can you pay for generating an EMI? I need my complain to reach the higher authority and need the bank to re-credit the amount which amounts to about 1500/-
