My complaint is about buying oneplus 2. For buying an Oneplus phone, a person requires invite. It takes month to receive an invite. Once receving an invite, we have 48 hours to place an order. Amazon is the exclusive partner of oneplus for selling onplus 2 in india. I received an invite from oneplus on 29th september around 5.30pm. I registered for an Amazon account that day itself, used the invite and added the phone to cart on 30th september.
The delivery time was showing 11am the next day. Since i would not had been able to receive the delivery because of my office timing, I decided to pay the next day. But on 1st it started showing the phone was out of stock. I called the customer care and enquired that if after adding the thing to cart, i can buy it once its in stock, i was replied with a yes.
Now on 7th it started showing it will b in stock on 10th. I checked today, 9th october, the phone is showing in stock. I went for payment, it showed that my invite usage period has expired.
I explained to the customer care executives for around 30 minutes that the phone went out of stock before completion of 48 hours, when it came in stocks am showing that i cannot buy the product. The customer care execuitve on the previous instance had told very clearly that can buy the product once its in stock.
The information provided on part of amazon.in on the first instance, was completely different from 2nd time. I have been wronged, i had been waiting for the product to be in stocks, while the product was not in stocks i was not even able to place an order. so how could i have placed an order?
