I have bought a mobile phone Nokia Lumia 730 from BIG C mobiles Chandagar Hyderabad with All Risk Insurance cover from New India Assurance company. My mobile suffered a physical damage while i was travelling from lingampally to kukatpally.

After contacting BIG C mobiles, they have instructed to contact Universal Insurance Brokers Services Private LImited ( UIBSPL) in Hyderabad and gave one helpline number.

As the address of that office was not available, I called upon the helpline number which would put me on hold stating ( all our customer care executives are busy) continuously for endless times. I have tried to their local office number from Justdial which is continuously busy and gets connected only by luck or fate of the customer.( 040-30727910 , 040-30727911)

After getting the estimate from authorised nokia service centre, somehow managed to get the address and reached their office after travelling 35 kms to reach their office before closing time of 1600 hrs.

Response or Reply given by the office staff about their helpline inefficiency was” It is a call centre it happens like that only”.

Leaving aside all the frustration and beign helpless as it was my requirement of getting the insurance claim filed, Filed up the claim.

Approval for claim was recieved and subsequently mobile phone was repaired at the same nokia authorised service centre where the estimate was taken.

For submission of NEFT form along with the repair bill, one office staff( who answers the phone always) sitting at the telephone , adviced that NEFT form to be collected from BIG C showromm, where as BIG C denied that no such form is available with them and such form can be collected only from UIBSPL office.

Reaching the UIBSPL office next day, i am vey much surprised that they are having those NEFT forms and giving it to customers like me who come to file the bills for payment of claims.

Submitted my claim with all necessary documents and acknowledgement from office staff of UIBSPL on 16.12.2014. They have verbally confirmed that money will be transferred via NEFT to the account mentioned in claim form in 15 – 30 days.

Today now it is 11.03.2015 and its been almost 90 days and i have not recieved any payment to my account.

When asked about the status of my claim , they gave one number of mumbai (which rings but no one answers no matter how many times you dial( 022-22617931)(, to call and ask them to know the status of the claim, which UIBSPL is supposed to know and give me the details of such queries.

I would like to request for strict action against both UIBSPL and New India Assurance Company for the defualt of providing genuine and timely insurance services and causing so much mental and physical stress on me during the claim process.

I have applied for the insurance for my mobile whch i buyed in big c showroom but there is no responce frm big c and insurance company and main thng is whch the insurance company whch is there in abids they never lift phone calls of any custerman and i am trying since 2 months but no responce and i can say that u r insurance company is wrost and wrost.
    Plz dont blame the name of india how means your insuance company name is india assurance insurance company and and u r company is wrost in india and u r company is unfit for this kind of insuance and plz doint blame the people kkkkkk plz yar ….and notify to branch people that to answer the custermer call k
