I have purchased a mobile phone naming Redmi Note 3(32GB) with flip cover case by cash on delivery Rs 12398/- from ‘www.mi.com’ having order no-5160511270240447 on the flash sale 11/05/2016 at my friend’s address. After getting the phone0n 21/5/2016 when I open it found that 3G network on this phone is not working at all (though it is 3G enabled) then I requested MI(Xiaomi India)customer care to replace the phone, first they have denied but after repeated request they have replaced thephone with ‘New one’ having order no 861645034711929 and is delivered on 04/06/2016. After getting it I have found the ‘new replaced phone’ has same kind of 3G network problem as with previous one. So I contact customer care (Xiaomi India) again but they totally denied it to replce it and it can’t be twice. and suggested me to go nearest MI service centre. I had gone KOlkata park street MI service centre worth of my valuable time and money.They changed phone software first and suggested me to replace the existing SIM with new one. After doing so the problem remain same. After few days later on 6/07/2016 I gone to Siliguri MI service centre (Ganapati Cellular,Sevoke Road,Siliguri) at the cost of lots of harrasment they received the phone and after inspection found there is ‘some hardware problem in this phone and have to change the said hardware parts’ but at that time they have not that parts so they told me to wait untill expected delivery date 18/07/2016. When I send my massenger to collect phone on 20/07/2016 they said parts are still unavailable so they have given me another expected date 01/08/2016(verbally). I think they will tell to wait untill another expected date after 01/08/2016(from experience share by other customer in the service centre).
Sir,my question is that how much harassment is due after purchasing a brand new phone? where there is no fault from my side.
Therefore I requesting you to arrange refund the money with full penalty compensation.
