I requested for a broadband connection from reliance in Sector 10 A, Gurgaon after moving in to that location with my family last month. Before making the payment of 1770 RS ( Initial Payment + 1 month Internet usage charges ) i enquired with the agent ( Sxxxxh Kxxxxxr) what will be the time required for getting the connection. I was assured that in 3-4 business days it will be provisioned with all the wiring and hardware installations. I submitted all documents and the amount on 22nd August and its been about 23 days that i am waiting for a response. The agent who collected the money and documents is not taking my calls anymore. After my repeated calls, he messaged me few days back that ” the company has run out of accessories and hence the delay since they are purchasing it from external vendors”. He also mentioned that ” company will offer you free internet service in lieu of this delay” . There was no response when i asked for a refund. Please note that i have sent multiple emails to reliance customer care services and the response i have received is ” we apologize for the inconvenience. We are working to resolve this with priority “. I have sent several emails and now no response from them as well. In the mean time i have called multiple people and either they did n’t respond or the usual response ” 2-4 din mai Lag jayega Sir. ”
I want to file a legal consumer suit against the company and this agent for all this trouble and wasting my time and effort in all these follow ups and enquiry. I also want to charge this agent for fraud.
