I am writing this in reference to my Group Insurance policy which I bought from National Insurance Company Limited. Sum Insured is 500,000 for my entire family including my parents, wife and two Children.
My Wife went through a Maternity Surgery and I informed the same to my insurance company. It was my second child (Covered under Policy) and at teh time of her Birth she was not well so she was admitted in the same hospital for Treatement and it cost me around 23,000/- apart from the Delivery Charges that was a total package of 25,000/-. So in total I have paid INR 48,000/- to the hospital and few medical bills were also there which I bought fot my Wife and My new born Daughter.
I informed the same to the insurance compnay in advance and they acknowledge it over the phone but did not give me any intimation number for my daughter’s hospitalisation.
Now when I am askign for the cash back for the same, they are delaying the payment however they have only approved 20, 429/- from my total claim amount of 51, 709/-. I have provided themwith all the bills and reports I have recieved from the hospital as per their requirement.
Please consider this as my request tosort it out as they are not answering my queries in a proper manner.
