Old Redmi Note 4 sold as new by shopkeeper

On 30/10/2017, I purchased one Redmi Note 4 from offline novalty market Asthvinayak Mobile Shop. They did not give the shop’s bill saying the phone was purchased online and the bill was on their name. they also told that the phone’s warranty will start from the time the SIM is insertged and not from the date of purchase.

Now, in January 2018, my phone is not working and when I took it to the service centre they said that the bill does not pertain to this phone.

This means the IMEI number on the shopkeeper’s bill is different to the IMEI number of the phone. By this shopkeeper has dsold me an old phone as new. I do not have much knowledge and I have been cheated.

Now when I am asking the shopkeeper for bill, he is asking me to come next day every time. Sir, what should I do now.
