Pathetic after sale service by Motorola

On evening of 28 July, when I received a call I couldn’t hear anything. Audio/ speakers of the phone stopped working suddenly. I submitted my phone at B2X customer care (Motorola service center) on 29th July. Attached is the scanned copy of receipt for the same.

I got a response that charging slot and motherboard is damaged and need to be replaced which is worth Rs. 7000. My phone is still in warranty however, according to them they don’t cover motherboard replacement in warranty. I read Motorola’s warranty policy on its website and there is no such clause. Also I asked for repair of speakers only which has nothing to do with charging slot.

Today I called them 5-6 times during the day and they denied giving me any answer saying that our system is down and we can’t track your phone. I called customer care toll free number and they asked me to first go to service center and make the people at service center talk to them. Then only they can escalate the issue.

I have already taken a leave from office and it wouldn’t be possible to take leaves again and again because of this. Please help me in resolving this issue.
