I had booked to deliver a couple of boxes from Hyderabad to Chennai (Kanchipuram) with DTDC on their Plus Service guaranteeing next day delivery. It was booked on friday, 13th Nov and was to be delivered by 14th evening. The tracking number is V25970210.

However it was not to be. And repeated calls to their completely useless One India number 33004444 was futile & not a single time it was picked up.

I am running to their diff centers here in Hyd to get to know the status. Their tracking web page became stagnant on 14 th afternoon itself.

Their manager Mr Kxxxn (7702203533) assured of deliver by 16th evening, but it was not to be.

They have conveniently washed off their hands saying that due to flood in Chennai they couldn’t deliver so it is a case of “Acts of God” clause. Their franchisees are worst, every time I call, they ask for complete address and say they’ll get back; and -you guessed it right – of course they don’t.

A pleasurable experience to be shared during the festive time turned into a pathetic one, of course part of it due to the floods.

I have vowed to myself that I will not go by DTDC again for their pathetic and unresponsive service.

  1. It is very difficult for any courier service company to delivery goods in a flood situation. I will suggest you to wait for a couple of days and see if the situation becomes better in chennai.
