I recently purchased an a/c from Paytm online retailer on 14th Jan 2016. The estimated delivery date was shown to be 23rd Jan 2016. Paytm is not shipping the item till now(20th Jan 2016), which means the estimated delivery date can not be met. As I am going on a vacation on 24th, I called the Paytm customer care and told them to cancel the order as I won’t be available to handle the delivery if its deliverd late. Paytm customer care executives are telling me that the order will be delivered late but can not be cancelled. I want to know from Paytm why can’t they cancel if they are not going to deliver in time what they show the customers while purchasing. They also said that the item has no-cancellation policy – what does that mean? An item can not be cancelled even it has not been shipped. I personally think this is exploitation of online customers as we can not do anything about it apart from calling customer care numerous times! Order No: 1467280669
