I booked a hotel through Paytm in Kolkata at Hotel East View, Salt Lake. When I reached there the hotel guy at reception at the hotel said we do not have any such booking even though I had a valid booking receipt through Paytm. Then I called up customer care guy at Paytm who apologise for the inconvenience and spoke to the reception guy at the hotel who informed him that they have no such confirmation. Then around 10:30 in the night Customer Care at Paytm said Sir since its late please book a new hotel and send me the new hotel booking( I also have supporting mail for this). We will refund your money.
Next day they say that they spoke to Mr. D.k from hotel who informed them that I did not turn up for check in (which is completely false). Now they say your case is resolved. They don’t want to return my money. Inspire of several calls.
