Refund from Hike wallet – Rs.8000/- : Kishor Kunal of Gomti Nagar, 226010, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh had loaded Rs.8000 in his Hike wallet. However, later when he tried to withdraw money to his bank account, he was unable to do so. The option of withdraw money was not working whenever attempted and there was no response to his emails. Mr. Kishor posted his complaint with ICF on 11-01-2018 and the matter was taken up with Hike. Mr. Kishor got his money back on 25-01-2018.

Mr. Suraj Kakwani of Thane, Maharashtra(Email: suraj_8288(at)hotmail.com) purchased one Micromax mobile from lalajionline.com. The mobile had camera problem and was replaced by Lalaji. However, even the replacement mobile was a defective one. Repeated follow-ups by Mr. Kakwani produced no results and he posted his complaint with ICF on 27.11.2012. The handle of the khadai was broken on delivery. She called the customer care of HS18 for replacement but they said the customer has to courier it back to HS18 otherwise they will not replace. Ms. Namrata Arora of ASHWINI LAYOUT, BANGALORE, KARNATAKA (Email: namratagrover27(at)gmail.com) For cancellation of a US domestic flight booked at Expedia.co.in, the customer care personnel told that Ms. Arora would get the refund in 6-10 working days after deduction of INR 1000. However, she did not get the refund. She posted her complaint with ICF on 30-11-2012 and finally got her refund by 8-12-2012.
Refund from Yepme – Rs.250/- – Mr. Prince Gupta of Faridabad, Haryana 121005 ordered a product with Yepme ( order No.32333647) but the order was cancelled by them without any intimation. Mr. Atul Jain of Indore had posted a complaint on 03-09-2009 in the Forum with regard to Kotak Mahindra Bank changing his account type and debiting his account for non-maintenance of average quarterly balance. ICF took up the matter with Kotak Mahindra and the matter was finally resolved. Kotak Mahindra confirmed refunding the debited amount.
