Poor service and extreme delay by Snapdeal

I ordered two Philips TVs from Snapdeal:

Order No: 2890770399
Order date: 21.09.2014

Issue:

Estimated dispatch date: 7.10.2014
Estimated delivery: 12.10.2014

The actual delivery was supposed to happen on 12.10.2014. There was no news about the dispatch on the snapdeal tracking website for around 15 days.

Finally after calling the customer care of Snapdeal some 100 times, they arranged for shipping and delivery. But it still took 2-3 days after reaching chennai. So , I myself went to the sorting facility to receive the TV.

Snap deal has caused me a lot of trouble and frustration in this Tv thing. I had to call the contact centre people and they just promised that the TV will be dispatched as given in the portal. But it didn’t happen for 10 days. I went through a lot of struggle for getting the TV home.

Snapdeal has some customer non friendly policies that don’t allow them to compensate for the trouble and the inconvenience caused. I am extremely disappointed with their very poor service. I would be glad and relieved if necessary action is taken on this front.
