My daughter brought a Sony TV Brivia KDL 32W700C at Mustafa Centre, Singapore on 29th July 2015 and brought it to Tumkur in Karanataka State, India to present it to me on my birthday. The said TV was installed in my house by sony service dealer. Now the TV is showing a horizontal line on the screen and the sony engineer who inspected say that there is problem with the panel which need to replaced. Since it was brought at singapore, he says that I have to pay for the entire repair.

I have cash receipt for having purchased and my daughter was told that it self serves as warranty. I will be much obliged if you could examine this and tell me what need to done.
