I purchased a “Phillips Trimmer” worth Rs 1100 online from Paytm on 13 october ( order number 1268503265) which was scheduled to be delivered in 4-5 days. I made the payment upfront from my credit card. Due to some mistake by the courier company Bluedart, the parcel was delivered to some other person who gladly accepted it. Hence. The parcel was never delivered to me.
I raised a complaint on 16 oct seeking assistance to send another product. The company staff replied that the product cannot be re sent and a refund of amount – discount already given will be made to my online wallet. I replied back stating that i have purchased the product during sale and now the prices have gone up so I shouldnt be bearing the financial loss and the company should resend the product. Then, company came back saying that the policy is to refund and not to send a replacement.
Aftr 2-3 mails, tired by their attitude I accepted to take a refund. But it has been 17 days now and 27 email chains, everytime the company staff replies back in a standard template that they are looking into the issue and will take 24-48 hours. On 19 oct, the company staff named AXXXXXd replied that once the merchant gets back the good which courier company delivered incorrectly, then only the refund will be processed. I found this reply illogical where i couldnt understand why I, consumer should bear the pain when the issue was b/w merchant and courier company.
During this period of 17 days i have got replies from more than 8 diff staffs assuring me that the issue is being looked into and i should wait for 24-48 hours.
I am really tired of their unprofessional behaviour and want you to take some actions so that I get my money back and relieved of the pain I have gone through and the time which I have spent.
