I have purchased a PureIT Marvella water purifier last year of Hindustan Unilever. I had started facing problem of leakage from multiple times even when the product was in warraty period til June 2015. After that I have logged multiple complaints for the same issue multiple times and it used to get fixed by Taj Services with whom Unilever is having a tie-up with. Again I have logged a complaint on 25th Sep 2015 (C3157120361) which they have closed without even bothering to call and speak to me or either visiting me to resolve the issue. When I took followup of my complaint in the call centre they confirmed that the ticket was closed. I have asked them to re-open the ticket as it was not actioned by them. They assured me that they are working on replacing the machine with a new one and which should be done by 3rd Nov 2015 latest. No one bothered to call me and update about the progress and again I gave a call today, 8th Nov 2015 and call centre agent Dxxxxxxh have updated me that the request for replacement has been turned down and is not approved and they are still trying to push for it. I insisted that I want to speak to there customer service National Head and he said that he cannot do that but rather connect me to Mr Txxxxe who is there Mumbai Head. He kept the call on hold and spoke to him and told me that he wil be giving a replacement in next 2 days. When I told him that I still intend to speak to him then he updated that he is not responding. I am logging this complaint because of utter frustation as my patience level has already been tested. The water is leaking from the purifier for more than a fornight now and I do not intend to switch off the purifier as I am having small kids at home.
