I am a tax payer in India. For my Tax year 2014-15 I had applied for refund of the extra tax paid by me. But due to mistake of an employee at my CA’s office my bank account details were provided incorrect in the tax return form and because of the said mistake I could not get my refund for my tax return that was processed by the CPC e-filing Bangalore in the month of October 2014.

When I came to know about this mistake I filed my rectification and re-issuance request on 31st January 2015. As per the details gathered from the CPC people it takes about 25-30 working days for them to verify / check the status and get the re-issuance of the I Tax refund.

Today it’s 23rd March 2015 when I am writing this for your kind assistance to speed up the matter, they are still informing me that you will be informed the appropriate communication shortly. Now my question is that what do they mean by shortly.

I have been chasing them regularly by putting my grievances. Till date I have put 7 grievances from 18/02/15 till 16/03/15 for the same, and they have answered to 5 of them saying that you will receive the appropriate communications shortly, but the saddest part is that their period of shortly never ends.

I now vide this complaint have to request you to assist me in the matter so that I can get my refund immediately. I now await to hear from you.
