I have purchased Canon ‘EOS 600D’ Digital SLR Camera on 26th March 2014 with 2 years warranty which Serial no. 368077170188. Due to manufacturing defect the company logo (sticker) in front of the camera has removed automatically and it’s lost. I have complaint to Canon India Pvt Ltd. through mail on 20.07.2015 and received a reply on where advised me to visit Canon service Center to resolve problem. Then I visit Canon Service Center at Kolkata, after showing warranty card told the details but the representative at the service center said that I removed the part intentionally and forcefully and he disagreed to give me the free service. I told him that I have not removed the part it removed due to manufacturing defect but he was not agreed with me, though I have free service warranty up to 26.03.2016 he demanded service charge for it. I was agree to pay the cost of the part Rs.350 but he demanded minimum service charge Rs. 2000 for the job. Please give me solution of this problem.
