I have a prepaid Airtel mobile no. purchased during the year 2007-08 with life-time validity on extra charge. During 2012 my service place transferred to a remote area West Kameng district of Arunchal Pradesh state where no network is available except bsnl. So i purchse a bsnl sim also but continue the Airtel sim as well whenever i visit my native place during leave usually once in 4-6 month. During my last visit in the m/o May-15, i recharged my Airtel sim on 9th May-15 with net pack of Rs.10 or 15 of 3 days validity and top up with Rs.50 and accordingly i used the net pack & top up till 13th May-15. On 14th May-15 the sim was shows as no service & i thought that due to network problem. But when the problem continues i contact with customer care on 16th May-15 and according to them the sim got damaged and suggest that they will replace the sim after furnishing valid documents to the Airtel office. So accordingly i furnished all the documents along with photo & sim to the local Airtel office on 18th May-15 and the local authority forwarded same to their regional office at Tezpur in Sonitpur district of Assam. In the mean time i returned to my service place on 18th May-15 after completion of my leave and next day i got massage that the sim could not be replaced as it is invalid for long time. Despite of my problem to communicate with Airtel customer care from my remote service place, i talked with them several times with every details, but their only reply is that as per their t&c the sim could not be replaced due to not in use for more than 90 days. I don’t have the proof of recharge my sim on 9th May-15 as i deleted the msg after getting recharge but i have the msg of crediting balance Rs.6.50 on top up recharge of Rs.50 on 11th May-15 received from AN-AIRBBU and msg of expire of net pack validity on 13th May-15 received from Best Deal -121, but how can i show them these msg. Also i asked for Complaint no. during communication but every time they deny to provide. Now my queries are: 1) My sim was validated for lifetime, 2) It was last recharged on 9th May-15 and last used on 13th May-15, 3) No Airtel network coverage is available at my present service place -now disconnection of the sim on 14th May-15 is how fur justified ? Please help.
