Its being over month that an internet banking fraud is being done with my ICICI Bank Saving account. The same is done on 09th-Sep-2016 when early morning i recived the message from the bank that my account is being debited with Rs.93129.79 via debit card purchase at around 6.05 am in the morning. Immediately i call the customer care center in the ICICI Bank to lodge my complaint regarding the same & they noted my complaint and provide me the service request number SR430815546.
Around 9.30 on the same day i visited the ICICI Bank branch in Neemrana Rajasthan where my account & again lodge my complaint & provided my address proof along with the same.
After one week of regular follow up they said that your payment is done via internet banking & the same is process via VISA and till now the merchant has not claimed the payment yet & if he not claimed the payment with in 8 days the same get refunded in your account on 09th day.This correspondance is received from ICICI Bank on 13th september 2016 & they said they will revert on the same by 22nd-Sep-2016 what the status is.
On 20th-sep-2016 i again mail him & they said that the merchant has claimed the payment so we have raised the charge back against the same it will take 50 days to complete the formalities & they will let me know the status of my complaint.
Now my question is that on the first day when i received this message of fraud from the bank & i immediately informed them regarding the same they not cancel that transaction immediately & stop the payment if they done so my money will not gone any where.I am the salaried & the amount debited from my account is very huge & time they take 50 days i huge.
So i request the forum to please take some serious steps against this fraud & instruct the bank to refund my money i will be very grateful to them.
