Complaint against BSNL for not attending to broadband shifting application:
Mr Amaresh Chandra Das of Kavoor, Mangalore-15, Karnatak had applied in June 2009 for shifting of his telephone with broadband to his new address. His application remain unattended till 23-09-2009 when he posted his complaint in the Forum. ICF took up the matter with BSNL officials who were kind enough to resolve the issue.

Refund from Rediff.com shopping – Rs.1,328/-: Susheel Kumar of Manimajra, Chandigarh (sush_kumar3[@]rediffmail.com) bought a product from rediff.com on 30-11-2014 but did not receive the product even after two weeks. He was given an AWB number but it did not exist. He then requested them to cancel the order but rediff.com was not willing to cancel the order. He posted his complaint with ICF on 14-12-2014 and the matter was taken up with Rediff.com. Mr. Kumar got his refund by 19-12-2014.

Micromax Canvas service complaint – Rs.10,690/-: Mr Mayuresh Rashinker, Pune, Maharashtra was having issues with regard to servicing his Micromax Canvas 2.2 A114. The device was having problems even after changing the mother board and repeated services. Since the service center could not fix the problem, he posted his complaint with ICF on 24-11-2014 and the matter was taken up with Micromax. The customer subsequently got a new device.

Waiver of Charges by ICICI Bank – Rs.1,100/-: Mr. Pankaj Sharma of Sikar 332001, Rajasthan was having a no minimum balance account with Rajasthan Bank which was later merged with ICICI Bank. However, after merger, ICICI Bank started charging for non-maintenance of minimum balance without notification to the customer. Kishore K, Chandanagar, Hyderabad, andhra pradesh Email: kallepu_k(at)yahoo.com bought Dabur honey from satvik shop.com Jan 2 2013 via order no7000018208. They failed to deliver the product even after continuous follow up. They finally said the would refund the money but Mr. Kishore did not get the money. He posted his complaint with ICF on 23-03-2013 and got the money back on 25-03-2013.

Refund from Makemytrip – Rs.11,000/- : Ms. Shrawani silwal of Bangalore booked Spicejet flight for 9thJan 2015. However, the flight was non operational and the booking for both ways got cancelled. Even after a month she did not get refund from Makemytrip or Spicejet. She posted her complaint with ICF on 08-03-2015 and the matter was taken up with MMT. After follow-ups the customer got her money by 12-03-2015.

Refund from Yepme – Rs.674/-: Mr. Vikram Rathod of Gandhinagar, Gujarat ordered an Item on 11th October on yepme.com and cancel it on 12th October. But until 14th December they did not refund his money. His emails and telephone calls went in vain. Finally, he posted his complaint with ICF on 14-11-2016 and the matter was taken up with Yepme. Mr. Rathod got his refund by 24-11-2016.

Refund from Valuecart – Rs.2696: Mrs. Satabdi Deb Prasad, Siliguri placed an order for Xiaomi by enrolling with Zestmoney on 27-01-2017. The product was despatched on 30-01-2017 however the customer had cancelled the order immediately on 31-01-2017. Dr Lopamudra Moharana of Rue La De Lauristan, Pondicherry had posted her complaint on 03-12-2013 regarding non-receipt of refund for the flights cancelled by Air India without any information to the passenger. Mrs. Lopamudra had been communicating over email and telephone with Air India and Akbar travels but refund was not forthcoming. ICF took up the matter with Akbar Travels and Dr. Lopamudra finally got her refund on or about 08.12.2012.
Complaint against MakeMyTrip for short-refund – Rs.4,285/-:
Mr. Angad Nagpal of Delhi (Email: angad_21(at)hotmail.com) had received short payment of refund against the cancellation of Kingfisher Airlines flight booked through MakeMyTrip in the sum of Rs.4,285/-. After not receiving the short paid refund amount even after reminders, Mr. Nagpal posted his complaint with ICF. ICF took up the matter with MMT and Mr. Nagpal received his balance refund amount on 26-07-2010.
