I had booked a hotel reservation at Shree Prayagraj Hotel, Allahabad for 2 days, 8-10 August via cleartrip. But,I was denied from checking-in by the hotel authorities as they said they had no allegiance with cleartrip and they don’t accept their reservation. I then called Cleartrip customer care, and got the executive on phone with the hotel manager, but to no avail. Then, I contacted a policeman from the nearest police station, who then persuaded the hotel autrhorities to give me a fresh room as a totally new customer. i also got the manager write on my cleartrip voucher that he has not entertained the reservation, and UI had to make a totally new purchase.
I need an adequate compensation from cleartrip for all the trouble they have caused me.

  1. I have faced similar problem. I booked a hotel in Pelling (Sikkim) for two nights and made full payment to clear trip more than 45 days in advance. After reaching the hotel I was informed by the hotel staff that they have not received any booking through cleartrip.com and was forced to make the payment to the hotel again. I was made hostage by the hotel till I made the payment to them. On assurance of cleartrip that they will refund the money, I made the payment to the hotel.

    I am contemplating to file a consumer case against Cleartrip.com. #cleartrip
