This is regarding the major inconvenience caused to me by the prepone of Spicejet flight SG-269 from Delhi to Varanasi on 14th December,2016. I am a student of IIT Guwahati and had two flights on that day: one from Guwahati to Delhi(Indigo) and the other from Delhi to Varanasi( Spicejet). Due to the preponement of the spicejet flight there was very little time left between the two flights and I guessed I would miss it. Hence I wanted to reschedule it and tried to contact the Spicejet Customer Care 4-5 times but no one picked up. They kept me waiting for long durations like 8-10 minutes each time I called and still no response. I did a web check in also but still I missed the flight. After that when I somehow contacted them and explained them the situation they didn’t provide me any help. I had to stay at the Delhi Airport from 5 p.m. on 14th December to the morning of 15th December and also had to pay a whopping amount of Rs.16878 to book another flight(Spicejet) to reach home. At a time when flights were being delayed frequently, no help was provided b the spicejet team and I had to suffer so much. After that I have been mailing to them regarding this issue multiple number of times in order to get a refund but all in vain. This Customer Forum is my last hope. Kindly look into the matter and do the needful.
