Regarding Jet Airways refuses to reschedule flit

I have called jet Airways customer care to reschedule my flight. I have been informed by the person on call that the ticket booked is in the lowest of the classes under economy class itself and its non reschedulable. While booking tickets no such information is displayed on the jet airways site that you are booking in the lowest of the categories and its non reschedulable. Also in the ticket itself reschedule charges are mentioned and its just non refundable ticket.

I have never heard that there even subclasses in economy class. This is just a way to increase flight fares on the last few days before departure and not allowing people to reschedule is a way to not lose the extra margin that they earn by last minute bookings. Customer must be informed of such things while booking the ticket. I am disappointed with such pratices by one of the pioneer brands in airline industry. I always travel with jet airways only but now I would need reconsider after this incident.
