Regarding MAB charges by ICICI Bank

In reference to my ICICI Bank account number 12xxxxxxxxx8, I would like to mention that I was not using this account since almost last year as I am having a salary account with your bank account number 1xxxxxxxxxxxx4 which I use regularly. Few days back, I thought that I will use both my accounts simultaneously as to park some of my funds as savings into the another account for which I called the customer care and enquired about the account ending with 2878 on which they said that my current balance is 0 and the account is inoperative to make the same active and start using it again I need to do any transaction. He also said to maintain a MAB of Rs. 10k per month from now on to which I enquired that since I was not using this account for almost a year and not maintaining a MAB will there not be any bank charges levied to me for the same to which he said NO. Now my point is why I did not get a clear answer to my question, and I got looted by your institution after I transferred 10k into the account as I can see that a bank charges of 7k got levied into my account the same day.
