I shortlisted a fridge from the shopclues.com and while making payment I stopped to enquire about the product from the dealer. Next day I got a call from shopclues.com that fridge was good and deliverable to my place and i should order this. So after few days on 29th July,16, I saw that there was an offer and I ordered that paying 13590 rupees in advance as cash on delivery was not available on my PIN. While I was trying to change the delivery address, on 1st august I got a mail that it is not available and hence my order is being cancelled and my refund will be given if not available.
Next day on 2nd Aug,16 I again saw it was available & deliverable at my address so I again ordered it paying 12910 Rupees as this time I got a discount due to SBi card scheme. Now again they cancelled making the same statement.
Now both of my amount 13590+12910=26500 Rs was stuck with shopclues for a week. When I told them that I will complain against them they offered me a lower model which would have cost me only 100 Rs less, therefore I refused that.
Now my 26500 Rs got stuck with shopclues for a week and I didn’t get anything.
They are fooling people showing these offers on site and then fulfilling it while getting big amount to hold with them for some time. Please look into this matter so that they are not able to fool more people like that.
