I ordered a Rakhi gift hamper from Gifts Across India site on 11th of August this month and provided required delivery date as 15th Aug. The company showed the expected delivery date as 16th Aug. Since it was a Rakhi gift and was to be delivered on time, I kept confirming them by calling them almost every day to deliver it on time. Till 17th, they said that it will be delivered, next morning was Rakshabandhan. I had no other option left, my brother was waiting for Rakhi. I was really fed up with this, since they assured me so much about the delivery that I didn’t go for any other means to deliver the Rakhi.
I don’t know what they felt, but to fool me, they sent 2 rakhi n 2 small chocolates at my address from their side only. It wasn’t a part of my order, neither I ordered it and assured that the hamper would be delivered in maximum 2 days. 2 days passed still it wasn’t delivered. Meanwhile, I kept texting them through emails, they didn’t reply me many times. Everyday I console my brother that wait for the hamper, but it wasn’t delivered.
Finally the 3rd day I requested for the cancellation of order, and since then they are neither delivering that nor giving refund. They never reply me back before 2-3days, that too when I text them again. There is no use of delivering it now, a week has passed to rakhi, there is no sense of it now. Atleast they should return my money back? They are saying they will deduct the charges of the 2 Rakhi n chocolate, but that wasn’t my order. It was their fault and they were trying to fix it and why should I pay for what they did? They didn’t informed then, that they are going to charge for this and why should they? I ordered a hamper and wanted it’s delivery only.
I’m really hurt with this. They made this rakhi as my worst rakhi. Please look into this matter personally because they really played with the emotions. I hope you will help me getting all my money back in time. It’s already 15 days past.
