I purchased Prestige Deluxe Granite (36316) BYK combo of Tawa, Kadai and Fry Pan from Prestige smart Kitchen outlet, KVR Franchisee, Shop No-9, Sanjay Nagar, Bangalore vide Bill No 4076 dated 08 Nov 15. While using the kadai (Sl No 131201 GH), I noticed chipping off of the coating at two places. I immediately lodged an online complaint with Id BANG 1566685R on 10 Dec 15 and took the product to the franchisee for repair. The Service centre at lalbagh main road, 4th cross, bangalore returned the product saying that the product was misused and that it cannot be repaired/replaced. I contacted the service manger Mr Pxxxxxxl Cxxxxxxu on 06 Jan 16 and informed him that the product was used as per terms and conditions and only wooden spoo/spatula was used. But he ignored my plea and reitterated that it was not manufacturing defect and was due usage of sharp /pointed object. I promptly called up customer care 08033441111 on 09 Jan 16 and apprised them. The customer care rep Mr Rxxxxt cordially told me that the issue will be resolved and another customer complaint wasa raised vide ID BANG 1644085R. I again took the product to the franchise but i was greeted with the same response that it will not be repaired/replaced at any cost. Please do the needful. I also told them that the product carry the information “metal spoon friendly” though i once again reitterate that only wooden spatula was used. I feel let down by a branded company like prestige, who has a long tradition of reputation and trustworthiness.
